KENT COUNTY LAND BANK AUTHORITY HOMES - INFO:

Independence Realty is the exclusive realtor who handles Kent County Land Bank Foreclosed homes.  These tax foreclosures can be purchased by the public at outstanding prices!  There are some caveats for purchasing these homes.  Please see the disclaimer below:

The City of Grand Rapids placed restrictions on the 2017 Tax Foreclosure inventory.   These homes must be resold to people who make less than 80% of the local median income for this area according to their family size.  In addition, the purchaser must intend to live in the home as their primary residence and claim it as such on their taxes via the Principal Residential Exemption.  The land bank requires all purchasers submit a renovation plan along with their bid.  The purchaser is expected to have knowledge and experience in rehabbing homes or working with someone who does.  Any purchaser MUST NOT be behind in paying property taxes on any home.  All bids will be evaluated based on the above and only the most qualified purchasers submitting the best offers will be considered.
